Ted Rogers School of Retail Management
Janice is an Assistant Professor in the Ted Rogers School of Retail Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. She educates future retail leaders, leverages technology to cultivate curiosity and researches innovative retail spaces. Prior to academia she held brand, licensing and category management roles at Unilever, Mattel and Bayer. She integrates her extensive industry experience by collaborating with industry partners to develop experiential learning opportunities for her students. Janice led the development of the Level 1 Professional Category Management Accreditation Program at TMU as well as the design and development of a virtual reality Circle K Convenience Store immersive learning experience (funded by eCampus Ontario). Janice has been an active member of the Ted Rogers School of Management’s Learning and Teaching Innovation Committee since 2017 and was the recipient of the 2021 Dean’s Teaching Award at the Ted Rogers School of Management.
